Okay, I think Chase might be the dreamiest new hero of fiction! This book is INTENSE, in all of the best ways. Steam galore, but with serious heart and tenderness. Horrifying danger and at-the-edge-of-your-seat suspense, but also this raw, sweet love that I think makes people crave these kinds of stories.
This book completely pulled me in from the first chapter. The tension builds fast and never lets up. I kept saying “just one more page” until I realized I’d finished the whole thing. The characters are messy, intense, and totally addictive. If you want a wild ride with twists you won’t see coming, this one’s it.
